'I have been having massages with Tina for several years now, including: remedial, hot stone, pregnancy massage, and the odd facial for a treat too. When I first went to her I had a lot of shoulder pain as a result of many years playing the French Horn. Tina quickly pinpointed the exact area giving me the problem and was able to work on this, give me some postural advice and simple stretches to stop the problem getting worse. I no longer have any shoulder pain - something I did not believe could happen having seen previous massage therapists and an acupuncturist. I also have on-going muscular tightness and weakness around my hips due to a previous operation. I see Tina regularly to relieve this tension and I always feel wonderful after the treatment. Whether you are wanting a firm massage to relieve pain or a relaxing massage or facial to melt stress away, Tina is the therapist to visit.' K.M. Alloa.
'My massage with Tina gave me just the right combination of direct muscle work and relaxation. I would highly recommend her for treating both specific injuries and muscle problems, and general stresses and tensions that build up in our bodies.' L.N., Edinburgh.
After each massage session I feel completely refreshed, rejuvenated and my shoulder is pain-free. I feel taller, somehow.' G.N., Edinburgh.
'I went to see Tina after suffering back spasms during training for a 10k race. Tina carried out an assessment and treatment which immediately had a positive effect on the injury. Tina was very professional and knowledgeable about the injury which I sustained. Her advice was clear and communicated in a very straightforward manner. After completing the session I continued to act on Tina's advice regarding treating the injury and within a week I was able to resume full training. A week later I ran a personal best in the 10k race. Many thanks, Tina!' Mr C. McP, Edinburgh.
'Hard physical work has left me with some long-standing muscle and tendon pain. The therapeutic massage sessions have provided me with tangible pain relief and improved mobility.' Mr G.M., Charlestown.
'I arrived with Tina feeling and looking like a lady aged 90 (and I am in fact only half that) with bent over shoulders and aches and pains all over my upper back. This has mostly been caused by many hours on my bike and working at a computer for a living. Tina got to work with a firm but never painful massage, relieving masses of tension in my shoulder muscles. Her technique was excellent and certainly one of the best I have experienced. I felt soothed, relaxed and utterly refreshed by the end of the hour's treatment. I left with the shoulders of a 40-year-old; much straighter, relaxed and free of pain. I will be back!' Ms F.R., Glasgow.
'Tina's ability to pinpoint and alleviate the aches and pains is wonderful!' Mr G.H., Lamancha.
'It's really relaxing. Before my legs felt normal but now they feel great. I really enjoyed the choppy part.' Ms H.T. (aged six).
'Tina’s facials are special. Aromatic oils of my choice (frankincense and sandalwood) made me relax even before she began the treatment. As well as pampering my skin with lotions and cocooning me in hot towels, she incorporated a wonderfully soothing facial massage and gave me a foot massage while the masque did its work. The whole experience felt extremely nurturing and therapeutic. Massage therapists either “have the touch” or they don’t and Tina certainly does. I arrived in 5th gear and left floating on a cloud. I live in Edinburgh but this is worth travelling over the Bridge for!' Dr R.N., Edinburgh.
